⭐ LIMITED QUANTITY — OUR RAREST FINDS ⭐

This freestanding 6" display contains three extremely rare samples:

Jack Hills Zircon: The oldest known terrestrial material on Earth. Zircon crystals in this rock have been dated to 4.4 billion years old, formed during a young Earth's earliest Hadean era. The Jack Hills formation in western Australia they come from is now a cultural heritage site closed to new mining, so these are among the only specimens that will ever be available. Each display contains a 1" glass jar with several samples of this quartzite rock that aren't much larger than grains of sand.

Acasta Gneiss: The oldest known crustal material on Earth. The Acasta Gneiss is the oldest known fragment of Earth's ancient crust, dating up to 4.03 billion years old. Exposed on a remote island in Canada’s Northwest Territories, the site is so inaccessible that reaching it requires chartering a bush plane with specialized personnel and equipment. Only small quantities can be retrieved under strict conditions, making each specimen exceptionally rare and scientifically invaluable—a tangible piece of the Earth's deep past. Each display contains a specimen jar with a small fragment of this rock

Morton Gneiss: The oldest intact continental crust in the US. One of the oldest stones on Earth, your display includes a sample of this Archaean-age crustal rock from Minnesota. 100 million years ago, geological forces pushed Morton gneiss to the surface, and 12000 years ago the glaciers covering it began receding. The rivers formed by those glaciers melting exposed some of the Morton gneiss, allowing you to take home this piece of geological history.

We have only a very limited amount of each of these samples, housed in a custom wood and acrylic 6" freestanding display. Add this to your collection while you can!
