Unearthed in 2010 by prospector Joe King while hunting for gold in Arizona’s remote Tank Mountains, this remarkable meteorite is a true cosmic artifact. The ten fragments—totaling 8.05 kg—fit together like pieces of a celestial puzzle and were later classified as an L6 ordinary chondrite by researchers at Arizona State University. This meteorite is estimated to be around 4.5 billion years old, originating from the early stages of our solar system's formation.

You will receive one of several fragments of this meteorite we have available, all in similar size and quality as the example shown. Each fragment displays striking orange staining, remnant fusion crust, and broad regmaglypts from its fiery descent. Cut surfaces reveal fine metal grains (up to 1 mm), distinct chondrules (up to 2 mm), and thin shock veins—classic signatures of impact and deep space origin.
